Spec. Coll. copy: imperfect, first blank leaf (a1) wanting. Four sets of contemporary and near contemporary manuscript annotations in both inner and outer margins. One set marks each mention of a figure of speech in Donatus and Calphurnio; a second culls valuable vocabulary. Two others--apparently in different hands (one using the inner and one the outer margins)--highlight printed references to and quotations of other classical authors. Nearly all the pinholes (upper and lower outer corners, frequently in pairs) remain. Bound in modern vellum over boards. Purchase, Bruce McKittrick, 1999.
