Spec. Coll. copy: v. 1 imperfect, 1 plate wanting. Bound in pink and maroon paper over boards with maroon and gold cut-out paper onlays. Ownership inscriptions of Elizabeth Juliana Ludford on front lining papers of both volumes. Volumes [1] and [2] were included in the original 12 volumes in a homemade Dutch flowered paper box acquired from the library of Elvah Karshner in 1960. These 12 volumes and five additional books v. 13-17 are now housed together in a modern beige cloth box with title "The juvenile library of John Ludford, 1746-1781."
